Downtown Lighting Ceremony

Tonight we went to the downtown lighting ceremony in Sir Winston Churchill Square. There were some games for the kids to play, the lighting ceremony, and fireworks.

The tree was over 58 feet tall with 100 strands of lights, over 7000 LED lights.

Mason got to meet Santa, although he wasn't too sure about him. And he really didn't like the fireworks.
The square is front of City Hall. They had hay rides, but the skating rink isn't quite open yet. But it was certainly cold enough. It was about 30 degrees, and we were cold!

How fun!!! We missed the lighting of the tree at Market street this year for the first time. It was HOT and rainy. Just not in the mood!
