Ok, its 6 degrees outside. The condensation on the inside of the windows is frozen, as in there is ice inside the house! My face was burning outside. I can't believe it is going to be colder than this. I have to find out what the temp is C, because the kids won't go outside to play if its less than -24 C....surely its close now. (Oh, and the weather report to the side doesn't seem to go below 32 F, I guess they figure anything below 32 just doesn't even matter.)
I know how not to die when its 100 outside, I don't know how not to die when its negative.
And here's a kids early word I bet you haven't heard. Mason says snow, only it sounds like no, which makes it hard to understand when he's laying on the floor yelling no, no, no and there is no one or thing near him. And finally you realize he is looking at the sky light and yelling about the snow covering it!

Oh my gosh!!!!!!!! That is COLD. So do people stay in most of the winter? I just can not imagine getting kids bundled up enough to get out. You are going to be ready to come home and thaw out. BTW we got a cold front and it will be highs in the 50's all weekend so brrrrrrrr for Texas!
Have a Happy Thanksgiving
