Another Party
Mason was invited to another party this weekend. A child at the sitter's was having his first birthday. I told Mason we were going to a party and he yelled "Cake" all the way there. I think he's had enough cake for a while.

He was very busy working on these blocks, and it was very serious work. He also spent about 20 min working the lock on the gate keeping the little ones in. Of course he had it figured out and kepty going in and out of the gate. He would make sure he locked it back before running away with mommy still inside.

Dancing with the Stars
Well, Mason's favorite TV show is back! Take a look at his and Grant's moves. And he has plenty to say about it all too. But I guess he finally had enough, as he puts himself in time out!

Music Festival
Tyler was in a Music Festival at school today. There were 4 choirs and a band participating from 5 different schools. Each group did their piece and then an "adjudicator" would give them a critique. It was fun to watch.

Tyler was even an MC for a portion of the program.
Since my other pics didn't come out to good, I had him pose for one. He didn't want to, and kept saying he wasn't going to smile....hmmm, looks like I got a smile anyway.
Oh, and just in case you wanted to know, its snowed everyday for about 4 days now! It gets pretty melty during the day, but freezes again at night. Hopefully we have had our last bit of snow. Even the boys are tired of it. I still might take them snowboarding over spring break. But don't worry, the ski resorts make their own snow when needed.

Gymboree
Mason was invited to a birthday party this weekend. He had a ton of fun running and climbing. The party was for a 1 yr old at the sitters. His name is Ethan, Mason calls him "My E-E." Mason has been quite tired after all of this work. At least we had something fun to do....since we were missing Kennedy's birthday party.

Chuck E Cheese
Last night we had a school fundraiser at Chuck E Cheese. Everyone seemed to have a great time, even the grown ups. I had given the idea to the PTO, and I had scheduled and planned the whole event, so I was pretty nervous about it. But I think it went great. There are only 185 kids in the whole school and I was worried only the 5 PTO families would come, but when we left there had been over 50 kids. The school gets 15% of the sales from the night, so I hope we made some money. And even if we didn't it was a great time. I got to get to know some of the mom's and the boys were entertained. Plus, we got invited to go camping, found a place to go ice fishing next winter, and got all kinds of information.
And, I brought my camera, but I was too busy chatting to get any pics of the kids! I was with grown ups, so I was more excited than the kids were!

The Thaw
Well, we continue to thaw out. Here are pics of the river today. All the white is river, but only some has thawed. It was completely covered a few weekends ago. During the fall it just had floating icebergs on it before it all froze. It has certainly been something interesting to watch. You can see tracks of snowmobiles in the first pic. And today we saw an airboat on the ice. I think it had been in the water as well.
