This would have been a great pic of Tyler being tackled but these people got in the way. You can see is black and red shoes.
Don't you love the look of that black mouth guard?
He played a outfield type position, so he did lots of running but didn't see much action. They are using the whole field this year, which means lots and lots of running.
This is what is called a scrum. The adults and bigger kids actually do this to fight over who gets possession of the ball (similar to tip off in basketball.) In Tyler's age group they are told who will get possession and just do this as practice. They can get pretty rough when the older kids do it.
Mason spends his time hanging out with all the puppies he finds.
Grant still uses only a quarter of the field for his games, and they still play flag. He made 3 Tries (scores) this game.
Or Mason hangs out with whichever brother isn't playing.
When Tyler's game was getting close to the end it was around 72 degrees. The ref was overheard saying to the boys, "I know its getting hot, but lets just get on with it and it will be over soon." And Tyler's worried about football in Houston being too whimpy of a game for him now that he has played rugby. He's going to be the real whimp if 72 degrees is too hot!
