I met a friend and her kids at the zoo today. The kids had a good time, but it was HOT! Even Kennedy complained about being hot, and she was wet from the water.
Oh, and we are preparing for another Tropical Storm/Hurricane. This one will definitely hit here, but hopefully it won't be too strong. Should hit around 8 am tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed for us.

Man you are brave going to the zoo right now it is SO hot!! I am ready for summer to be over.
I did not even know there was splash pads at the zoo I think we have always gone in the fall or missed them each time.
